adidas Skateboarding first materialised in 1998, launching with long-time team rider Mark Gonzales. Since then adidas Skateboarding have produced some of the most iconic skate shoe silhouettes to date, including the long-running adidas Busenitz, the ever popular adidas Superstar, and more recent model, the adidas Tyshawn alongside seasonal clothing and apparel including Adidas t-shirts, adidas hoodies and adidas jackets.

About adidas Skateboarding
adidas has been making footwear and clothing for a variety of sports since 1924. Founded by Adolf "Ali" Dassler and later joined by his brother Rudolf Dassler, adidas have been a leading footwear and athletic apparel brand for almost a century. The company has focused on the latest technological advancements since its inception and has infused this ethos into it's skateboarding programme.
Adidas Skateboarding History
From 1978 to 1980 they produced the first ever skateboard specific shoe called the Skate and their shoes designed for tennis, basketball and volleyball have all proven to be popular with skateboarders. adidas Skateboarding have produced a range of high quality skateboard videos over the years, with an early focus on international riders as opposed to the often Californian-centric spotlight adopted by a lot of brands, with videos such as Korean Dance and Diagonal.

Given the wide-ranging and vast archive of silhouettes available in adidas' back catalogue, inspiration for adidas skate shoes have been derived from a range of iconic shoes, with the adidas Busenitz taking clear inspiration from adidas football shoes of years gone by, and the adidas Superstar getting a remodel to improve its functionality for skateboarding - both of which have stood the test of time and remain ever-present in adidas skateboarding's arsenal. adidas skateboarding has also released skate versions of the adidas Campus, adidas Samba, adidas Stan Smith, adidas Gazelle and many more with the ADV stamp indicating the advanced durability and quality necessary for skateboarding.

Collaborations are a mainstay of adidas skateboarding's approach and has seen them partner with the newest and most influential brands from both inside and outside the skate industry. Collabs have included Brands such as Fucking Awesome, Magenta, Hélas, Thames, Palace, Unity, Krooked, Pop Trading Company, Dime, Evisen, Alltimers, Spitfire, Bape, A$AP Ferg, Beavis and Butthead, Jason Dill, Blondey McCoy, the list goes on.
Adidas Skateboarding Pros
Recent models such as the adidas Tyshawn, and the even newer Tyshawn Low provide a simple design with high functionality which creates a high performing and durable skate shoe. Heitor Da Silva's signature adidas Forum 84 Low reignited the flame for an 80's adidas classic with some dope hip-hop inspired colourways coming to the fore. SS23 has also seen the release of a adidas Kader Pro Model, the second shoe partnering with prolific pro Kader Sylla.

This productive team of professional and amateur skaters has produced some of the best skateboarding videos in the industry including Away Days, Calima, Law of the Seas, Reverb and many more. These videos have been hosted by a multitude of media outlets from Thrasher to Grey Skate Mag and Free Skate Mag to Jenkem.
