Thrasher Magazine - few words are as synonymous with skateboarding. Founded in San Francisco, California, in 1981 by Fausto Vitello and Eric Swenson, Thrasher has become somewhat of an institution and acts as an encyclopaedia for skateboard history past and present. Often referred to as "The Skateboarding Bible”, with almost religious followers of the monthly magazine, Thrasher has long been dedicated to skateboarding photography, providing interviews with the biggest professional skateboarders in the game, as well as a platform for cultural insights through interviews with musicians and artists.
Recent years have seen the crossover of Thrasher clothing into mainstream culture, and long-running staples like Thrasher Skate Mag and Flame Logo t shirts and hoods appeal to skateboarders and non-skateboarders alike. Over the years, Thrasher has routinely collaborated with some skateboarding and streetwear heavyweights, such as adidas and Supreme, cementing its position at the forefront of fashion and culture.
