BUILD STREET DAY
Build is closed today unfortunately but lets not let that hold us back! Hit the streets for some classic Manchester spots.
We've been skating some of these places for years, Some have fallen victim to skate stopping but that doesn't mean you can't still get creative and get a clip. We're keen to see you hit some of these old (and a couple new) spots in your edit.
GREY BAR
Starting on Oxford Rd This manchester classic has been skated since the early 90's with the bars put there to stop people skating the banks. It's been skated a number of different ways but lets see what you got.
THE BEAN
The Bean! This one's quite gnarly so defo only get on this thing if you feel up to it. But years ago this once graced the cover of Sidewalk Mag with Woody managing to ollie up on to it at high speed, Kickflip on the top and then ride off the other side.
BRIDGEWATER BANKS
The Bridge water banks have seen their fair amount of action but anything on these is tough! Extra respect If you can get behind that electric box.
URBIS
If Urbis popped up in your edit that wouldn't be a bad thing either. It's fully skate stopped but you can still skate it in many different ways.
LINCOLN SQUARE
Lincoln Square has some of the best curbs in the city. But we wanna see combo tricks. Who's got boardslide to back fifty or noseslide to crook? Whatever you get I'm pretty sure you will have fun trying.
Remember these are all just suggestion for spot's and tricks go easy and don't be a knob to any security. Having these spot's in your edit might help you take the top spot but some of these spot's you might get kicked out but that's just the way it is. Feel free to hit us up for directions in the DM's But the main challenge and one of the funnest parts is to find them, Because you might just find something else on route.
