Skateboard Rails

Rails are plastic strips that can be screwed along the sides of the bottom of a skateboard deck. They were a popular skateboard accessory in the '80s that fell out of favour in the '90s but have enjoyed a slight revival in recent times. They offer a bit of protection to the decks graphics and some skateboarders like the way they slide and some like that they give you something to hold during grab tricks.
