Thrasher x adidas x Argentina
We’ve just about seen it all, here, over at NOTE HQ but we never thought we’d see the day when a football federation has partnered with an skate industry stalwart – but here we are. Thrasher, adidas Skateboarding and the Argentine Football Association have joined forces for a tasty little capsule, and it lands just in time for the 2026 World Cup.

On paper, a skate mag teaming up with a national team might sound like a stretch. In practice, it makes a fair bit of sense – if we’re honest. Thrasher was founded in San Francisco back in 1981 by Fausto Vitello, an Argentine-born skateboarding pioneer who'd moved to California as a kid (Vitello also co-founded Independent trucks too). So while we’re going to be going red in the face screaming for the likes of Rashford, Mainoo and O'Reilly and the rest of the England squad this summer, you’ll likely catch us on off days wearing this Argentina x Thrasher clobber because it’s very very good.
The Jersey
Leading the charge is the jersey in black and blue that nods back to the kits of the early-to-mid 90s. The diamond pattern, the bold Thrasher flame-script across the chest, the AFA crest and those three little gold stars... it's the centrepiece for a reason.

It’s the sort of thing that works just as well bombing around Platts as it does down the pub watching the group stages. A proper crossover torso-topper, if there ever was one.
The Shoe – the Glenburn
The collab also features the adidas Glenburn, a fairly new skate silhouette getting the full Argentina treatment in a Black colourway. Black leather and suede, with the sky-blue trim. Cream laces and of course Three Stripes, there's the AFA badge on the tongue, three gold heel stars nodding to those World Cup wins, and "Thrasher Revista" debossed into the suede round the back.

Not convinced by this doozy? We're pretty sure our wear test featuring Shaun Wilkinson will change your mind.
The Rest
Beyond the jersey and the Glenburn, there's a proper spread of clobber to dig into:
- A black hoodie, kitted out with sky-blue Three Stripes down the arms
- A black crewneck featuring original artwork from adidas skate legend Mark Gonzales
- A core white tee, also carrying that Gonz artwork
- A reversible bucket hat
- A second graphic tee in both core white and night navy, paying homage to Argentina with that sun-faced diamond print
The Gonz contribution is the cherry on top, really – an absolute legend putting his stamp on a seriously top-tier drop.

When can you get your grubby mitts on it?
The Thrasher x Argentina x adidas collection drops at NOTE on the 31st of May 2026, both in the Thomas Street shop and online.
Three worlds – a skate mag, a sportswear giant and a football federation – pulled into one collection. What a time to be alive.
