Nike SB P-Rod Zoom Low 20th Anniversary Release

Nike SB celebrate the 20th anniversary of Paul Rodriquez first Pro model, re-releasing the OG colourway with twist for 2025.

First hitting terra firma back in the 2005, the P-Rod 1 from Nike SB was a standout release and marked a huge change in the skate shoe industry and culture.

Fast forward 20 years, Paul Rodriquez has gone on to become one of the biggest names in skating, had ten signature models from Nike SB and easily solidified himself as a legend in the industry. After two decades have passed Nike SB is bringing back the Paul Rodriguez 1 in its OG colourway for a second time!

A homage to the OG

This may be the second time the sportswear Juggernaut has brought back the iconic P-Rod pro model but this upcoming launch stays true to the original with a slight twist.

The Nike SB Paul Rodriguez Zoom Air Low sports a white leather upper with black a mesh tongue and swoosh to add to the clean look. Like the original the skate shoe also has the signature P-Rod monogram panels that wrap around the heel of the shoe – a classic look.

The only areas of divergence from the 2005 version come in the form of platinum finishes and upgraded translucent sole - adding to significance of its release date (twenty years from P-Rods inaugural SB model) and looking to the present for some skate-friendly improvements.

As well as with platinum finishes on the Nike heel branding and eye-let, custom engraved platinum “SHS” dubraes finish the homage to P-Rod’s debut silhouette. Twenty years have flown by, a lot has changed but the Nike SB P-Rod Zoom Low still hits in the same way.
