NIke SB "Krampus" Dunk Low

While we just gave a wholesome dunk a shoutout with the Nardwuar Low coming Saturday, Nike SB have seen fit to release a slightly more sinister dunk tomorrow that’s pretty damn naughty if you ask us!
This isn’t SBs first festive dunk but it’s arguably its darkest and surprisingly that’s made for a banging skate shoe. The Nike SB Krampus Dunk Low takes inspiration from Central and Eastern European folklore. Basically Krampus is a horned, half-goat figure who turns up around the same time as St. Nicholas. While Santa’s dishing out presents to the good kids, Krampus is there to deal with the naughty ones – think chains, birch sticks and a sack you really don’t want to end up in.

Krampus Dunk Details
While many have disputed the existence of either Santa or Krampus, there’s no denying that this bit of folklore makes for darn good skate shoes. Up top you’ve got a cracked black leather upper with that Campfire Orange peeking through like embers under coal, finished off with a clean black Swoosh and fat SB tongue. Down below it’s all Dark Smoke Grey and black on the midsole and outsole, with a sneaky translucent red hit.
The details are where it really goes full Krampus – horror-style insoles, special hangtag and evil little contrast stitching that makes this feel more haunted folklore piece than cosy Christmas Dunk.

Nike SB Dunk Low Pro "Krampus" Release
Lucky enough for you, you can get your grubby mitts on this devilish doozy of a dunk when it releases tomorrow at 8am. Just head to the Nike SB collection and snag a pair at the appropriate time. But in the meantime, earn your place on the nice list by taking a look at these flicks.
