His collaborations with top skateboarders like Jason Dill, Mark Gonzales, and Tyshawn Jones along with filming for legendary videos such as Alien Workshop's "Photosynthesis", Supreme's "Cherry" and Transworld's The "Cinematographer Project" have solidified his reputation as a visionary and top-tier filmer in the skateboarding industry.
Who is Bill Strobeck?
Bill Strobeck, a key figure in skateboarding, first gained attention filming Philadelphia’s Love Park scene in 1996. His major breakthrough came with “Cherry” (2014), Supreme’s first skate video in nearly two decades, which featured big names like Dylan Rieder, Alex Olson, and Tyshawn Jones.
Before “Cherry,” Strobeck worked on “Photosynthesis” for Alien Workshop and directed independent projects like “DIZZY” (2004) with Mark Gonzales and Jason Dill.
Post-“Cherry,” he continued filming top-tier skaters such as Na-Kel Smith, Sage Elsesser, and Sean Pablo in acclaimed Supreme videos like “BLESSED” (2018), cementing his legacy in the skateboarding world.
