Established in 1986 by former professional freestyler Pierre-André Senizergues, Etnies was the first ever skater owned and operated footwear brand. The company has it’s origins in Europe, Sénizergues subsequently introduced the brand to the US and proceeded to build Sole Technology and the STI Lab where research has led to numerous developments in skate shoes.
