Dime MTL started out as a gaggle of Montreal skaters with a camera and a more than notable sense of humour, and somehow ended up as one of the most beloved names going. These days they make graphic tees worth losing sleep over, outerwear that has no business being this good, and host the most gloriously daft and best events in skateboarding. About Dime MTL

Dime MTL (the MTL being Montreal, for those not fluent in airport codes) is a Canadian skateboard and clothing brand that crawled out of the city’s skate scene. The Montreal based skate crew have gone from producing videos, to making clothing, to hosting the best events in skateboarding, for example the Dime Glory Challenge. They made their name on a run of videos that paired genuine skating with a properly funny streak, and that personality became the whole point as they moved into clobber. Although they take a light-hearted approach to some of their apparel designs, they also produce some of the best graphic t-shirts that NOTE stock, and some of the classiest and highest quality outerwear available on the skate or streetwear market. The collection at NOTE tends to span tees, fleece, denim, headwear and the odd bit of weird-and-wonderful hardware and homeware, with fresh drops landing through the seasons. It pulls in far more than just dyed-in-the-wool skaters — which is precisely why it’s stayed so popular with our lot for years.

Yes. Dime came up through skateboarding, making videos

clothing and major skateboarding events have taken on lives of their own.

An annual Dime-run event that ditches the standard contest format for something far more entertaining - part competition, part spectacle, and one of the most fun things on the skate calendar.
