Riot Skateshop’s Nike SB Dunk Low

The Bordeaux brainiac’s over at Riot Skateshop have whipped up quite the skate shoe treat for us and it’s sure to age well. 

Partnering with industry juggernaut Nike SB, Riot Skate shop have given the Dunk a certain je ne sais quoi that’s got the Workers and Lurkers suitably parched and ready to sup on the wearable bevvy of burgundy.

If you’re haven’t got a clue what we’re on about, don’t worry here’s the jist of it – Nike SB have worked with Riot Skate shop on a new Dunk Low and it’s inspired by Bordeaux’s most famous export (second after Léo Valls) red wine.

The Rouge Riot Dunk

This partnership between Riot and Nike SB marries the famous dunk silhouette and the region’s favourite drink.  

Bordeaux, renowned for its association with top-tier wines, offers a lush spectrum of inspiration for this shoe. The Dunk Low Pro QS showcases a palette that mirrors the rich, lux tones expected of Bordeaux’s finest reds. 

Crafted with a Mahogany leather upper highlighted by rich tonal reds and black nubuck underlays, the design is finished with a translucent red-tinted sole that pays tribute to the grapes behind Bordeaux’s iconic flavour.

Riot Dunk Details

This ain’t no plonk that’s for sure! This shoe is packed-full of details and niceties that make it an early entry into the best dunks of the year. The insole mirroring the cork that seals bottles of the good stuff. The wax-seal logo on the tongue. The reflective layer on the Swoosh. The debossed logos on the heels. The subtle embossing of the gone but never forgotten, Pooch,  the shop’s legendary dog and mascot. All of which make this an absolute humdinger of a dunk.
