It’s that time of the month again folks - Nike SB have blessed us with another dunk and it’s pretty choice.

This time round they’re asking us to step into the Academy, put on a Gi and get ready for some heavy headlocks with a collab with Albino and Preto. For those of you not quite up-to-scratch with your Brazilian jiu jitsu knowledge, let us enlighten you. Albino and Preto is a Jiu-Jitsu uniform and lifestyle brand founded in 2011 and they have quickly become a hugely popular brand promoting the sport, its spirit and community - not to mention making some pretty dope clobber. This collaboration is no different.

A detailed look at the Nike SB Dunk Low x Albino & Preto

Blending the worlds of skateboarding and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, this Dunk Low is a masterpiece of thoughtful design. The meticulously patterned Pearl White canvas upper pays homage to the traditional jiu-jitsu gi, while the variety of laces in belt-ranking colors celebrates the BJJ community. The black and white accents, representing Albino & Preto (whose logo is also present on the heel tab), symbolise the transformative journey from beginner to master, making this shoe a true statement of style and accomplishment. Not only that, but this shoe is another dunk that wears over time creating a unique look with multiple colours beneath the ecru canvas.
