Lurpiv 3: The Latest Truck From Oski.
Trucks are an interesting corner of skateboarding, aren't they? You buy a pair and then proceed to grind them down to a nub and rarely think to switch brands or even swap out your current war-torn pair until something cracks or snaps.

But sometimes it’s worth taking note of what’s new on the market and having a bit of deep dive before wedding yourself to the same old trucks. The truck on the NOTE operating table today is the new Lurpiv 3.
What's Actually Changed
The 3 is built stronger, which is the sort of claim you hear from numerous brands but here’s the specifics. The kingpin has more clearance, and it sits lower, so if you’ve ever flattened one on a ledge this could be of use. The height is 55mm which is comparable to your trusty stage 11 Indys. Bushings are 92A out of the box, so it'll turn properly before you've started fiddling with them. Polished finish throughout.

Gravity-Poured Trucks
Lurpiv are describing the Lurpiv V3 as gravity-poured, for what they're calling a classic old-school grind feel. Sounds like marketing spiel but it’s actually a decent bit of product development. Gravity-poured aluminium ends up a tad softer and less dense than the alternatives. This all means these beauts should wear in nicely as you keep crooking or slashing and like old Indys become a part of your set-up you’ll never want to let go of.
Lurpiv 3 Out Now
The Lurpiv 3 is now available at NOTE in a few different variants. We’ve got hollow and solid pairs, baseplates in silver, brown and red, and sizes to fit 8.125" to 8.5" decks, 8.5" to 8.75" decks and decks 8.75" and up.

We’ve got it all and if you’re in the market for some new trucks these could well be your next choice for a good while.
