Article: Introducing ESP – Element Special Projects
Introducing ESP – Element Special Projects
Element have come a long way since the early days of Underworld Element – their original name from back in 1992. What many of us remember though is that golden era between '92 and 2002 – with Donny Barley, Natas Kaupas, Jeremy Wray, Darrell Stanton, Tim O’Connor, Kenny Hughes, Reese Forbes and Billy Pepper all in the team – when the brand cemented itself in the culture and industry. And even back then, Element was pushing proper outerwear and cut-and-sew pieces built for skating.
Fast forward to 2026 - their team is once again stacked with some firm shop favourites in the likes of Brandon Westgate, Jaakko Ojanen, Vitoria Mendonça and Vincent Milou and they’re clobber is also turning all sorts of heads around the shop floor. Namely thanks to their new ESP range.

Element Special Projects
Introducing ESP, Element’s new line of conscious, considered and clean apparel. Only stocked in a handful of French outlets and slowing making its way to the UK, Element Special Projects range is made up of garb that’s pretty versatile in its approach. The idea is to make clothing that is for people who have been themselves influenced by skating and its culture. Think refined design, roomy fits and top-tier materials that can handle skating around town and life’s regular duties alike.

ESP Spring Summer 26
For the first drop of ESP at NOTE, we’ve taken stock of some highly useful drench-repellent outerwear with taped seams and a DWR coating meaning it’ll be a dab hand at taking on the elements.

Alongside the spring showers garb, ESP has also gone to town with a bunch of dangerously-breezy seersucker, GOTS organic cotton and jersey knits that are going to be bob on for this summer’s activities sat around a disposable barbeque in the park.

And finally, in the pantaloon department we’ve got some double knee doozies that are definitely worth a gander. Gusseted crotch, relaxed fit and reinforced poplin make these a pretty easy recommendation for summer sessions and that’s before we even get to the micro-checked shorts that could take on dips at Sale Waterpark and a few laps around Platts.

All of this stuff from ESP is also sustainable – recycled fabrics, certified organic materials and conscious processes, that sort of thing.
Element Special Projects or ESP is new to the NOTE stockade but we must admit we're pretty impressed already. Pop yourself to the ESP collection, have a gander at the lookbook images and come down to the shop and see why we're so hyped to have it on the rails.
