Hayley Wilson x Nike SB Dunk Low Pro

Real Skateboards pro, Jort enthusiast and all-round Aussie shredder Hayley Wilson lends her creative eye to the latest dunk from Nike SB. This ain't no run of the mill skate shoe release – that’s for damn sure.

We’re big fans of Wilson and are stoked to see her Nike SB Dunk Low Pro fly through the NOTE HQ doors.

Wilson's Output

Hayley Wilson has been a heavy hitter since day one and unbeknownst to us was the Australian Skateboarding League's national champion for four consecutive years from 2016. Along with competing and getting second at the 2019 London Street League comp, Wilson hit most people’s feed thanks to a range of SB edits from 2018 up until 2023 culminating in the coveted last part in Gassed Up (an SB video featuring the likes of Elissa Steamer, Nicole Hause, Arin Lester and many more) – if you haven’t already we’d highly recommend watching the whole thing. 

From there Wilson was added to the Real roster featuring in multiple edits and putting out a part in 2023. Wilson’s easily one of the most productive skaters in the industry and rightful got her first Real Pro model and Slam magazine’s Skate of the Year both in 2024.

The latest career hammer in Wilson’s tool box – a Nike SB Dunk.

Taking inspiration from her tattoos, Wilson’s dunk is becoming a firm favourite among the Worker and Lurkers with its “Flash” style design and bold hues. The upper is a blend of purple, black and white nubuck and leather that’s all dead premium, while the white midsole and translucent blue outsole adds some decent contrast to the whole thing.

These dunks are taken to next level though with the details hidden all over the shoe. There’s UV-light-reactive thread around the swoosh and on the heel tab, barbed-wire embroidery on the heel, references to Wilson’s tattoos under the translucent sole and printed on the insole and Old English font on the tongue tab featuring Hayley’s signature catchphrase “You Reckon”.

This a real humdinger of a skate shoe.
