First Look: The Adidas Tyshawn II
Five years after the launch of his first signature skate shoe, the Tyshawn, twice SOTY Tyshawn Jones is back with a fresh addition to his Adidas lineup. The Tyshawn II is set to hit the shelves on 1st of June, and it’s a doozy.
The Evolution of the Tyshawn
When Tyshawn Jones first teamed up with Adidas in 2019, he introduced a silhouette that blended performance and style much like his own skating (we’ve all seen him ollie a Ferrari). Now, with the Tyshawn II, Jones and Adidas are at it again creating a pretty forward-thinking shoe that also looks banging. Supposedly taking influence from the adi-archive, these skate shoes do seem to have a indoor footy boot flavour to ‘em and maybe even a hint of the Aloha. Either way, these shoes are soft on the ole’ peepers.
Design and Features
The Tyshawn II chock-full with some decent features, here’s what makes it stand out:
- Low-Cut Leather Upper: The shoe boasts a low-cut profile with a premium leather upper. The dual-layered panels and perforations at the forefoot enhance durability and breathability, making it perfect for long skate sessions at Gooseside.
- Lightstrike Cushioning: Underfoot, the Tyshawn II is equipped with Adidas' Lightstrike foam. Sounds pretty damn good whatever it is.
- Cupsole Construction: The cupsole design combines a multidirectional tread pattern with impact cushioning. These are suitably grippy if you were wondering.
Getting you hands on the Tyshawn II
We’re stoked to have this new adidas skate shoe on the NOTE shop floor and definitely recommend taking a look either in the shop or online.
