First Look: Nike SB Ishod 2 - Dropping in Persian Violet and Varsity Red

The Nike SB Ishod Wair 2 launches at NOTE at 8 AM (GMT) on 19 January.

Skate shoe savants and Nike SB supporters take note. This Friday, bright and early, the Nike SB Ishod Wair 2 skate shoes are set to land on Mancunian soil. NOTE workers and Lurkers all have a soft spot for the first Nike Wair, but this new one is a real beaut.

'90s Inspiration Meets Modern Skateboarding

The Ishod 2 cleverly combines the inspiration from iconic '90s basketball footwear with the necessities of contemporary skateboarding. These skate shoes feature an updated mesh design, complemented by the renowned exposed Air unit with Nike Air Max technology for optimum performance. Basically, some dead savvy shoe tech from Nike’s basketball division has made its way on to a skate shoe and we're sure they’re going to skate pretty darn well.

Tough Build and Ishod's Signature Style

Crafted to endure the daily punishment of skateboarding, the Ishod 2 is a mix of mesh, leather, and suede. It's decked out with the unmistakable Swoosh (of course) and bears Ishod's personal touch with his name on the tongues and "Wair" across the eyestays. The keen-eyed among you will also spot “'Ishod” hidden on the eyestays.

These trainers are primed for anything. With a cupsole that's quick to break in from what we’ve heard and a herringbone outsole for some solid grip. If they’re good enough for Ishod…

Not One But Two Colourways

We’re stoked that Nike and Ishod are launching two colourways with this drop. The White/Persian Violet/Obsidian/Pine Green and White/Varsity Red/Summit White colourways are both very distinct and offer something for everyone’s tastes.
