BUILD VIDEO CONTEST

Manchester has a long history of producing scene videos and with the rise of social media and people filming solo parts and edits we really don't want to lose that feeling of working on something together with your friends and with this in mind, Note and Adidas are proud to host the “BUILD” video contest, Aiming to get people out with their friends as a team to create a fun edit at BUILD.

Each team will skate and film each other for 10 days ticking off challenges at BUILD (Aviva Studios) logging clips in the streets, creating concepts and titles and generally having a great time with your mates while having fun making an edit. The edits will be premiered at BUILD at our NOTE25 party then the winners picked by the adidas team will receive a year’s worth of adidas. The more unique, creative and inventive the better!

THE RULES 

STEP 1: Gather up to a group of 5 max. Everyone’s welcome it doesn’t matter if your new to skateboarding or a seasoned veteran. Come and see us in-store before the 27^th of July to sign in your team, then collect your Free bag of goodies to get you started, Including Wax, Info Cards, Clip On Fisheye etc 

STEP 2: Get filming and skating at BUILD. Challenges, Workshops and Updates will be sent to one of the team members via text.  

STEP 3: Collect all your footage and export your Edit; can be filmed on a phone or a more advanced set up eg find HD video camera, go pro, Vx1000 etc. 

STEP 4: Deadline for submitting your edit is MIDNIGHT 6th AUG. Make sure you attend the NOTE 25 year anniversary party (more on that soon) where each video will be premiered at the BUILD park by the adidas panel. Prizes will be announced!

Making your edit impactful might not just be about the tricks. Get watching your favorite videos and think about why you like them so much. The editing, the music, the cut aways or just the general vibe can really make an edit more memorable.
