This section contains all the nuts, bolts, bearings, bushings, riser pads, grip tape, wax and lubricant needed to assemble, maintain, upgrade or customise a skateboard. All these bearings and bolts are sold in packs of eight (unless otherwise stated). If you are new to skateboarding and are wondering which bearings to choose the more expensive bearings are the highest quality but the cheaper ones are perfectly adequate for most skaters. The ABEC rating is a guide to the tolerance of ball bearings but the rating does not measure how fast or tough the bearings are and many of the best skateboard bearings do not have ABEC ratings.
