Buy Passport skateboard decks, t-shirts, hoodies and hats. Pass Port is a relatively young brand operated out of Australia by Brisbane skateboarder Trent Evans. Pass Port is all about supporting Australian skateboarders and artists, and boasts an eclectic team of well-chosen shredders from down under. Inspiration from the brand is drawn from a wide range of sources including travel, friendship and Australian heritage.
Pass Port had been chipping away for a few years by producing quality goods and pushing the Australian skate scene, but the wider skate world really began to take notice when the gang released their impressive online team promo ‘The Whole Of The Community’ in 2011. They make a focused range of quality hard and soft skateboarding goods from decks to socks.
The brand’s riders are referred to as ‘Passengers’ – those along for ride include underground favourite, the floppy haired Melbournian Callum Paul, Josh Paul from Queensland via Austria, and O.G Wellington, New Zealand to Sydney transplants Bernie Foo and Glenn Wignall. Those in the UK familiar with the international DVD series ‘The Story Film Makers Guild’ released by Mark Baines’ former shop should remember these two for their sterling sections in independent video Forays by Dan Kircher. They have both had subsequent parts in Kircher’s excellent subsequent release Skylarking.
More recently, underground shredder Geoff Campbell and current Melbourne local has very well deservedly been added to the team. Geoff is the New Zealander responsible for really putting Melbourne, Australia on the map through his series of critically acclaimed independent skate videos such as Secky Presh and Cunnies Box since moving there a few years ago. Geoff happens to also absolutely smash it in front of the lens and now collects windbreakers for Pass Port – he’s a double threat to the game!
