Landscape has produced a number of classic British skate videos including ‘Portraits’ and ‘Horizons’. The sister company of long running British board company Heroin, Landscape is known for its clean design and sponsors some of the UK’s best street skaters including Note’s own Joe Gavin and Tyrone O’Hanrahan.
Landscape was founded in London in 2003 by Mark 'Fos' Foster with the introduction of the now classic British skateboard film 'Portraits' by Chris Massey. Portraits featured the original team Olly Todd, Toby Shuall, Joel Curtis and Daniel 'Snowy' Kinloch.
2009 brought the release of the second Landscape film 'Horizons' by Alan Glass featuring original riders Joel Curtis and Daniel 'Snowy' Kinloch with Frenchman Soy Panday and new pro Joleon Pressey alongside amateurs Rory Milanes, Jin Shimizu and Nick Stansfield. In 2011 Sheffield’s Ash Hall was added to the team. 2012 saw the addition of Milton Keynes ripper Joe O’Donnell by means of an impressive welcome edit filmed around the UK.
NOTE’s Joe Gavin joined Landscape’s pro team in late 2012, with an accompanying welcome section to mark the occasion. In 2013 Landscape released the online tour video ‘Austerity Dawgs’ filmed and edited by Sean Lomax, which saw the established team take to the streets of Athens with the added talents of newer riders Tyrone O’Hanrahan and Matlok Bennett-Jones and new pro Joe Gavin. Joe has already released numerous pro boards with Landscape including a homage to the famous GZA Liquid Swords album cover and a collaboration with Manchester artist Krek.
